Executive Summary:
In our first report on enterprise integration, we introduced the concepts of scenario-based integration and a networked integration environment as the pillars of an IT integration strategy for customer experience. In this report, we further describe the networked integration environment; its major layers and services; and its supporting integration development, monitoring, and management environments. Since we firmly believe that the best way to approach integration is at the scenario level, deriving the integration scenario from the customer scenario and supporting business scenario, we use five customer experience scenarios that depend on IT integration as the frame of our report.
